In the Warkari sect, he is respectfully called Jagadguru. Happiness, prosperity and generational wealth were enjoyed in Tukoba's house. Tukoba's elder brother Savji was not paying much attention to his father's business at home. Kanhoba was still young. Therefore, all the responsibilities of the house soon fell on Tukoba.
                                                                                                                                   ΔΔΔ

Later, he developed a longing for devotion to Vitthal.

The old temple of Vitthal was newly established. Vitthal was immersed in devotion. After his wife's death at home, he used to go to Bhandara hill and recite the name. There he had a vision of Vitthal. One day Namdev Maharaj came to him in a dream and asked him to compose Abhang. He did not worry about his family. If people bothered him, he would go to Bhandara mountain. He composed Abhanga on Vitthala, along with Shri Krishna. Seeing the nature on Bhandara mountain.

He was pleased with him and gave him gold pieces and ornaments but he did not accept it. Even the kings were stunned by Tukoba's kirtan.

People coming from far and wide to listen to their kirtan.
Vitthal, Dnyandev, Namdev, Eknath were chanting. All the people were engrossed in hearing Abhang. He said that there is no need to worship God to please God by creating abhang for the benefit of Tukoba society. Seeing his fame, Rameshwar Bhat and Munjaba of the village thought that no one would come to them. He asked Tukoba to drown the Abhang Gatha in the Indrayani river.
According to some people, the saga resurfaced after a fortnight. Although it did not happen, Tukoba's fame had spread far and wide.
